Our Staff

Dr. Dean Sophocles is a member of the American Dental Association. He pairs his philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry with an intensive care for the needs of each patient. Along with our highly trained staff, Dr. Sophocles brings you the best in family, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.

Long-time Swarthmore dentist Dr. Joseph Paradine joined the practice in September 2006.

The newest addition to our practice is Dr. Jahnavi Dave, who brings her talents and skills in general and endodontic dentistry to our office. Dr. Jahnavi is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she received highest honors. Dr. Jahnavi also received recognition for her outstanding performance in the field of endodontics. With the skills of Dr. Jahnavi, our practice is now able to perform most root canals in the office.

Our dentists maintain a close network of the finest specialists in the tri-state area. If we feel that a procedure cannot be performed at our office, or if we feel that a consultation is needed, you will be referred to one of these fine specialists.

Our clinical assistants, Cyndi and Rachel, and our dental hygienists, Carol and Cat, will work with Dr. Sophocles, Dr. Paradine, and Dr. Dave to provide a comfortable and sterile environment. Our receptionists, Bette and Karen, will schedule your visits to our office, assist you with payment and insurance questions, and make you feel right at home.
